Born in London, UK, Kanine represents a fresh and dynamic force within the drum-and-bass scene. His signature blend of powerful basslines, high-energy drops and melodic hooks quickly made him one of the most exciting young producers to watch.

Kanine first broke through around 2018, crafting tracks that resonated in clubs and festivals alike.  Early on, his sound sat between jump-up and dancefloor D&B — he himself describes the period around 2018–19 as a time of finding his identity.

As his career evolved, Kanine embraced songwriting and visual production alongside his DJing and beat-making. He’s spoken of the transition from being simply a “producer” to a full-fledged artist handling production, songwriting and visuals.  His work continues to be widely supported by influential names in the genre, positioning him as one of the UK’s emerging top acts in the 174 BPM range.

On stage, Kanine has performed at some of the world’s biggest D&B platforms — his live sets are known for their raw energy, tight mixing and ability to engage and electrify the crowd. Fans regularly highlight his festival performances as defining moments.

With a steadily growing catalogue of originals and collaborations, Kanine’s trajectory continues upward. Whether in the studio or on stage, his mission is clear: push the boundaries of drum-and-bass while retaining the pure thrill of the dancefloor.
